I'd tell you exactly what I was doing while I was gone, but the names of the innocent (and more importantly, the not at all innocent) must be protected. So instead, I wrote a few things about this time of year that I've decided to share with you… I know you’ll enjoy them…
To start, I'm not going to talk about Halloween itself yet. While I do enjoy that night very much, no matter how badly some have tried to turn it into a cheesy gimmick, my favorite part of the holiday actually comes the night before, on what is known as "Mischief Night" or "Devil's Night". So, lets begin there.
Unlike today's take on Halloween, this night isn't about "treats", its all about the "tricks". And no stupid, I don't mean tricks of the prostitute kind, so get your filthy pig mind out of the gutter. I mean tricks of the good old fashioned, mean spirited sort.
In its more traditional form, Mischief Night is pretty much defined as the name itself implies - a night to cause mischief. More or less harmless pranks played by neighbors on one another, particularly by neighborhood kids of teenage and pre-teen years. Egging, toilet papering, powder bombing, white washing, and all that kind of stuff I’m sure you've heard of before. The idea of "trick or treating" stems from this… the threat of a trick if you don’t give a treat, and has been greatly incorporated into the general Halloween tradition in this way, even if the tricks aren't supposed to really be carried out.
Devil’s Night covers the same idea but often with a more nasty and even criminal turn, as befits that darling bad-boy for whom it's named. In most cases the "tricks" aren't that much more serious than what is commonly known for Mischief Night, but in some places these have crossed into much more destructive activities, usually involving fire and malicious acts of arson. Stuff like that is going too far in my eyes, since its cowardly and childish. I prefer my sadism to have more purpose to it, incorporating a sexual edge, mixed with male humiliation usually… though I must admit at times I do like wanton acts of violence still.
You see, for me… this night has always been a time to give my darker side even more freedom than I normally do.
Now, I would love to tell you all about the nasty shit I did when I was younger… but as I was fondly remembering the days of my not-so-gentle youth, I realized it probably would not be a good idea to detail that portion of my past in a public place ~laughs~. The evil and sadism came out nice and early, and it was in my Middle School years that I learned how much I enjoyed making boys the target of the lil' demon in me (okay, a quick example ~laughs~ - evil girl gangs cornering boys, overpowering them, yanking their pants and shoes off to make fun of their little pee wees… then we'd chase the bare bottomed boy home - my early days of small penis humiliation… still brings a warm smile to my face ~grinz evil~).
As a teenager, this malicious streak began to take on a more sexual tone, and since then that has only grown and matured as I've gotten older. But in my pre-teens, its form was bluntly vicious and physical… you know, your typical little girl Halloween fun. Things like chasing boys with water guns full of rubbing alcohol and hot sauce as a kid (think "eyes" - that's one of the nicer options my childhood girlfriends and I used to terrorize the boys of our neighborhood with, and thus the only one I will mention here ~laughs~), were left behind as I got older and learned there were far better ways to torment the opposite sex. Gone were the days of marauding packs of screaming girls chasing down the hapless boy who crossed our path. As our bodies more fully developed we found it much easier to lure those boys to us, allowing our growing feminine powers and sexual allure to exploit the natural stupidity of the aroused male in much more subtle and devious ways.
For example, one year our sadistic little crew of demon chicks decided on Catholic School Girl uniforms as our group costume… worn just right, if you know what I mean. Without getting into too many details, lets just say we spent the night being naughty around each other in public, and that we got any men who tried to "get lucky" with us in a whole mess of trouble - public humiliation would be just the start, often they'd get their butts kicked if some "white kinights" were around to "protect" us innocent school girls ~laughs~. That's one way to cure some dogs of their Catholic School Girl fetish… or at least teach them that dogs should remember to keep it on a leash. Our own kind of nasty tease and denial… pure, calculated slutty evil played with such a vicious edge. I still laugh when I think about how much fun it was.
But I've grown beyond such playful nonsense… even if the memories are fond ones, my tastes in mischief are much more refined now. ~grinz~
